DVD Cutter is "yet another small DVD video extraction tool". No more, no less. The process is simple, you select a VOB file, then mark “start” and “end time”, with the ability to play the selected slice, and if you are ready, just press the "Save selection" button, and voilà! Done! The selected part is saved as a new VOB file.
This process seems to be fairly easy, but the truth is that the process is sometimes tricky, due to the lack of simple features which could improve the accuracy of the selection (like choosing the time scale) or adding some features which enhance the user experience: We don't have a fast forward/rewind option, so we rely on the accuracy of a little slider, making a simple task to become a painful riddle.
Moreover, I realized that some command buttons (like the play/pause option) don't work as I have expected, I could perform the same actions in an alternative way nevertheless (like clicking over the video to play/pause it).
In sum, if you have no time at all and need a quick and simple job, grab this program and try it. But maybe for the next time, you will want to look elsewhere for a better solution.
